Are there product categories that MYREDISLAND does not accept?
Currently we are not accepting the following items:
·Body Jewelry
·Jewelry made with material from endangered species and banned material
·Jewelry made with Lead
·Jewelry made with Animal products
Does my item have to be manufactured?
The item you submit for a product evaluation should be a manufactured item or, at the very least, a working prototype
Is there a fee?
MYREDISLAND does not charge for a product evaluation nor does it charge a fee for listing of products.
Is there a minimum quantity of product that MYREDISLAND buys?
Typically MYREDISLAND wish to work with items that are available in quantity because it needs to justify the cost to MYREDISALND to photograph and list the items. However, if your company is selling one of a kind jewelry and is interested in marketing on MYREDISLAND, please submit your product catalogue. The Merchandising Team at MYREDISLAND will evaluate the submission.
May I speak with a Buyer to discuss my product?
Due to the volume of product submissions, we must ask you to follow MYREDISLAND’s product submittal process as a first step. Speaking with a buyer will not expedite the decision-making process. Does MYREDISLAND sell cause-related merchandise?
At times, MYREDISLAND sells cause-related merchandise where a donation is made to a specific charity. As with any product MYREDISLAND sells, the cause-related product must have general appeal and saleability. If MYREDISLAND is interested, the product will be evaluated using MYREDISLAND’s normal evaluation procedures and then scrutinized against MYREDISLAND’s guidelines on cause related marketing.
Application Process

Please reply to the e-mail, attaching the images for all the products you wish to submit and send the e-mail back to MYREDISLAND. Be sure to include a price sheet if you have multiple items for review. If you have a website, please let us know so that we can review your product line.
I have more than one item. Should I submit an application for each?

How can I have my product reviewed by MYREDISLAND and how long will the review process take?

Vendor Relations will contact you via e-mail in approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the time your form is received to inform you of MYREDISLAND’s level of interest in your product.
Should I mail MYREDISLAND a product sample?

Vendor Relations will contact you via e-mail in approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the time your form is received to inform you of MYREDISLAND’s level of interest in your product.
MYREDISLAND prefers that you do not send unsolicited product samples. If MYREDISLAND requests a sample, please enclose a copy of your product submission including the submittal number. Do not send any materials that cannot be replaced for example an original prototype or mold. MYREDISLAND accepts no responsibility or liability for the safe arrival, handling or return of any submitted materials. MYREDISLAND does not return unsolicited product samples.
How do I know if my application was successfully submitted?
You will receive an e-mail the same day you send your product submission. The e-mail contains a product submission number and a request that you attach and return an image of your product. Please see the example e-mail letter below.
Dear Vendor:
Your product submission has been successfully received.
The next step is to supply a digital image of your product by replying to this e-mail and attaching the image. The only acceptable file formats are .jpg, .gif, and PDF.
In order for us to properly evaluate your submission, you must provide a digital image. When sending your digital image please note your product submission number in the subject field of the submission, you must include this information on any future correspondence regarding your submission. Any submission not accompanied by a digital image will forfeit product evaluation.
After receipt of your digital image, MYREDISLAND's Product Search team will assess your product's relevance to MYREDISLAND's current merchandising strategies.
This process may take up to six weeks. Upon completion, you will receive an e-mail whether or not MYREDISLAND is interested in having further discussion with you about your product.
Note your submission number above. You MUST include this information in the subject field of your e-mail.

What factors should I keep in mind when calculating my cost to MYREDISLAND?
As the vendor, you determine the cost of goods to MYREDISLAND based on the charges you incur in manufacturing and packaging. Do not include shipping cost to customer.
May I have access to MYREDISLAND’s shipping & product requirements?
Once MYREDISLAND has made the decision to move forward with your product, we will provide you with access to our Quality Assurance, Packaging and Labeling Guidelines. We do not release this information until it is determined that MYREDISLAND is interested in your product.
